Resource Financial Services is pleased to announce it has made a significant contribution to Camp Cole, a nonprofit organization that helps children and adults facing serious illnesses and physical, mental and emotional health or life challenges.
Camp Cole is named in memory of Cole Sawyer, an 11-year old boy who lost his battle to cancer in 2004. The camp is a place to help children with critical illnesses forget about being sick for awhile and remember how to have fun – to laugh, play and make new friends.
With help from Resource and others, more than $10 million has been raised since 2018 to open a new state-of-the-art medical facility for the camp.
As a show of thanks, a few representatives from Resource were treated to a special concert by Patrick Davis and other singer songwriters on Thursday, November 19. President and CEO A. Wade Douroux was presented with a guitar signed by all the artists involved in the special event.
As we enter this Thanksgiving week, everyone at Resource Financial is full of gratitude for Camp Cole and other nonprofits that provide a message of joy and hope for all who need it. To learn more and join us in giving your support visit Camp Cole online at campcole.org.
