Meredith DuRant

Meredith has more than eight years experience in the mortgage industry and is knowledgeable on a variety of loan programs, including VA, FHA, conventional, jumbo, and rural housing. Having worked with everyone from first time home buyers to investors, she makes it her goal to always be available to clients and real estate agents throughout the loan process to help make every transaction a smooth one. Meredith graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications with an emphasis on public relations.
Meredith is married to local realtor Paul DuRant and they have three children: Brady, Katelyn and Molly. She is a member of the Sales and Marketing Council through the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina (BIA) and serves on the Service Committee through the Central Carolina Realtor’s Association. She is an active member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, where she participates in the Lunch Buddy program. In her spare time Meredith enjoys spending time with family, boating on Lake Murray, going to the beach, and reading.

Meredith was excellent to work with! Her years of experience and knowledge helped clarify all questions I had. She was very transparent throughout the process. My refinance was contingent on the sale of my secondary home. I had the opportunity to lock in a very good rate. Meredith gave me her word that if the rate lowered within time of my closing period, she would be sure to lock it in. My final rate was .5 lower than the original. Had a great experience with Resource Financial and Meredith Durant. I think a lot of it had to do with all in-house origination, processing, underwriting, and closing. I presented some real challenges with my VA loan and she worked through them all. Definitely went the extra mile (and a half). Very military friendly.

I was ready impressed with the way my process was handled. I contacted Resource Financial because they were mentioned on Mungo Homes flyer. I expressed to Ms DuRant that I was interested in trying to purchased a new home and I wanted to go through the VA approval. She Stated that it was ok. She also worked and got me per-approved for the loan. I loved the service that I receive from Ms DuRant and her office.
